Working principle
Precise electronic equipment like mobile phones contains a certain amount of precious metals (Ag, Pt, Au). In order to recover them, other metal impurities will be removed in the first place, and then dissolved by electrolysis under strong acid conditions, then gather and collect the ions after that.
Titanium Anode Production Process
Titanium anode is a kind of electro-catalysis electrode in electro-chemistry, which is composed by substrate that is pure titanium and coated that is precious metal oxide.
1. Substrate treatment:
It needs to be treated by roughing, cleaning and removing oil, which can increase the compactness of catalytic.
2. Brushing & Drying:
After substrate treatment, it will be proceeded brush coated. The main coated content is platinum group metal, which is a kind of mixed solution.
3. Heat Treatment:
Heat treatment will be proceed after drying.
The whole procedure need to be repeated many times. This method is better to form thin oxide catalytic that is lamellar adhere to substrate surface.
Applications
Electrolytic extraction of colored precious metals. Electrolytic extraction of the metal has high requirement for electrode, it requires stable anode, corrosion resistance, long-term use capability, and the electrocatalytic activity for the anode process is to reduce the overpotential and cell voltage of the anode reaction. The present niobium titanium electrode satisfies the above requirements and also has an activation effect on the anode reaction. At the same time, the addition of niobium also lengthening the service life.
